To prepare a Jungle Bird cocktail, first combine 1.5 oz dark rum, 0.75 oz Campari, 1.5 oz pineapple juice, 0.75 oz lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Then, fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the outside feels cold. Lastly, strain the chilled mixture into an ice-filled rocks glass. Optionally, garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.
